Hello...Ladies....

Hope you all are doing fine. I'm catching up with Spring theme though its so so hot over here in Bangalore (LOL). Today my LO is for ItsyBitsy and this is my mid month share for this month's theme.

I have used a wood background pattern paper and I choose the focal picture which will coordinate with my pattern paper. I have used wood stencil with Heavy white gesso from Itsy Bitsy store. Later did little stamping for texture with Gabrille's texture stamps, added Color Splash - Tangerine, Gold and Green matching the focal pic. Layered with diecut flowers, added Little birdie - vintage Flower set, added artstones from Fabrika Dekoru, white splatters for highlights and when its spring theme it cant go without flutters.....added fussy cut butterflies across the LO.

Wild in Nature

Hello Ladies.......

I'm back with another new work of mine to share with you all.   I was inspired by the challenges hosted with More Than Words, Dusty Attic and Mixed Media Place mood boards and this is what I came up with.

I loved the colors, theme, concept, textures, layers and many things in the mood boards and overall I have tried to implement all in this piece and hope I have justice.

I wanted to make a spring night when the wild is out in the forest for some wild hunting and added some bright flowers, textures, stones, grass, animal on prowl  in mid of night....so I choose the pic which can capture the entire theme and fit in.

I have used different mediums from 13arts - black Gesso, Pigment Colors - , Spray mists - Teal, Gold, Yellow - Acrylic, Grainy texture paste from ItsyBitsy, Corrugated sheet, Dusty Attic - Stencil - Wood Grain and Leaves, Dusty Attic Chippies - Wildflower (Big), Lindys EP- Fiddlehead  fern green & DD - Gorgeous green, Mini art stones, Moss, few die cut flowers & blue berries matching the layout, Fabrika Dekoru- Magic Glitter paint for glitter & Teal Stones, Viva gold for hightlights.

Soaking in Spring!!

Hello Gals.....

Today I'm sharing my first DT project for Itsy Bitsy Blog. We have a lovely SPRING challenge for this month and this is my take on the same.

I have used most of the products from the stores to create this piece....using their newly launched mixed media range. I received my design team kit with lot of new mediums from the stores along with Little Birdie flowers, stencils, chippies.......but in my project I wanted to highlight the texture paste as this gives more depth to any project and hence tried my hands on Grainy paste and Fiber paste on this project. These pastes are very good for your mixed media projects and the outcome is here which I have shared over.....I loved the result and outcome.

I have used a thick chipboard 12x12 to create this. And have the tutorial on the blog for you guys to have a quick glance on how I created this project. I have used texture paste, fiber paste, glue gun, art stones, chippies, paper cylinder, dry moss, few leaves from stash, corrugate sheet, flower sequences, diecut flowers, art stones, Color Sprays - Green, Gold and Tangerine, dry twigs, crackle paste, fussy cut butterflies.

Few close up shots

I totally enjoyed creating this piece and loved the textures and the total outcome of the project.  Hope you guys like this little share of mine.
