Mysterious - The doors of Life!!!

Hello Dearies......

The world is full of amazing places and we all agree on this as we read so much about their discoveries and the mysteries which reveal lots and there are some unanswered questions which we are still trying to find answers for ....!! Yet these stay as Mysteries unsolved. As kids we have often been hearing stories of kings and queens and many mysterious deeds which has happened in the history before and even to this day we see these continuing to our children as bed time stories. My inspiration for creating this little mixed media art was from these doors and the tittle which is adventurous.

I was inspired by the texture, colors, architecture from this month's mood board for Mixed Media & Art, Mixed Media World and also Dusty Attic ....the rusty colors and effects were all I wanted to show in my work.

So I have used an 8x8 canvas and have textured it with TCW brick stencil and Tim Holtz layering  (numbers) with Modelling paste, Fabrika decoru's magical paints, Prima Art stones, Ranger Clear Crackle, Dusty Attic Border Chippies - both border and negatives, Dusty Attic Wild Flowers,Expressions Stamps new release fence border chippies, Lindy's Bratwurst Brown and Guten Tag Teal EP, handmade resin angels, dry moss, few resin flowers and pearls, Viva gold for extra shine. I loved working on this layout and the way this turned out. I have used the negatives and border of Dusty Attic chippies to form an architectural outlook for my focal pic and have adhered few flowers and pearls and made this piece as an heritage.

Hello Gals....

It is a sheer excitement to apply for this lovely creative team with so much talent there and always they choose lovely DT's whose work is so inspiring and I too would love to try my hands.

I like to create various projects like Cards/Layouts/ Scrapbook pages/ Art journaling/Altered projects...and so on and try Mixed media more.

I love all your products...Magic paints/Chippies/ Scrapbook Papers.....and so many lovely stuff to make with your products.

I have been making paper crafts like cards/ albums/ altered art/journal pages/mixed media......so on.  So art is totally my stress buster in my life. I love to make more mixed media projects as it gives freedom to use everything in your stash  and nothing goes waste......which I do include in my work.  I'm a self learnt mixed media artist and love to play with colors ....create anything which gives happiness.

I want to be a part of this great team who are a par with their own creativeness. Hope my work brings an opportunity to learn and create more with you all. Enclosing my few pictures of recently worked projects.....more on my blog too.

I'm comfortable in all mediums.....water colors/acrylics.....any. I would love to experiment on new techniques and I always try to bring in all my works and each one I ensure I bring variation and each is different from the other and there's no repetition of the same.

Darkness - Dream

Hi Dearies....

I have been late to post this time as I was not keeping well. Today I have a journal spread to share with you all and I have used Digital Printable's from our store and have created this.

So lets start this small share of work....

  • I have color printed this digital pic on a heavy Watercolor paper. And I have distressed the edges with Brushed Corduroy.

  • After this I have used Alcohol ink on the ruffled  edges of the water color paper. By mistake a drop of ink fell off on my printed side.....mistake do happen but look further steps how that disappears!!

  • I have used a stencil with modelling paste.

  • After heat setting the modeling paste I have used Fabrika Decoru's Magic paints to paint the journal and here I have used Magic brown, Black and Sunshine yellow. I love the sheen and shine it leaves once you paint them. I have also added some splatters all around.

  • After dry setting the paint I have stamped for more texture with Archival ink black and texture stamps from Prima.

  • I have also printed few more digital images here and will fussy cut them and adhere it to my journal spread.

  • I  have fussy cut them and highlighted with White Gelly Roll pen and Posca pen for highlights. Now our journal spread is all set and ready. I have added a small hand written sentiment. Few close up shares below:

So this is my share for now.....will be back soon with some more new work.

Kindly share your creations with us and for all the lovely stuff to create....Please visit our store for supplies and for more inspiration...please do visit our blog.
