Masquerade - The Disguise

Hello Dearies....

Today I share this canvas for the DT call with Words & Paintery Blog and May month challenge.

I have used an altered canvas with Prima Heavy Blackgesso, Prma Patina Pastes, Prima stencil, Lindy's Gold Moon Shadow Mist Spray, Creative embellishments Chippies, Mudra Golden Sequences, Prima Mulberry Leaves, Handmade foam roses, Mulberry Daisies and tiny roses,Flower sequences in my statsh, few feathers to go with my focal image, Lindy's EP - Teal, Gold and Green for embossing.

I wanted to show the Patina colours on a different take instead of the way old altered tins, hardware and stuff.  I wanted to showcase a LO with Patina and how effective and different it looks when created with a bit of creativity.......so this is what I came up with.

Black & White - shades of Life

Hello Dearies

Today I have a LO to share which I worked with just Black for White with one Challenge blog and the one colour to be used was Black and here's the take.

I have used Dustty Attic - Mandala stencil (Zentangle), Lindy's Black EP, WOW - Silver EP, Wendy Vicchi - Embossing paste, grey and white  Koi water colours, stamped and fussy cut flowers, dusty attic chippies and few negative strips embossed and adhered, Papericious - valentine paper pack strips, fussy cut butterflies, silver and black micro beads, melange, printed words.

The model in the pic is my crafty friends niece JIYU. She's very cute little doll whom I love to cover in my work and this is her birthday pic....just before she blew her candles!! She is my inspiration in most of my works.........a doll to love for ever.

Altered - Heart Tin

Hello Dearies....

Today I have an altered tin box which I had ......and didn't kinda know what to do with it....! Finally some thoughts at midnight dreams type got into my crafty head and this is what I turned it out to look like.

I have used Prima - Garden Fable and G45 papers for background inside the lid and the bottom of the tin box. I have die cut the balcony which was from a fence die cut, gave a base by cutting a chipboard it into a semi circle and adhered each other. Covered a button with pattern paper for table top, matching to it cut a rectangle chipboard adhered it with pattern paper matching the table top and made it a sit out in the balcony with some dry moss leaves dangling from the top with some stamped and fussy cut fairies embossed with Ranger EP and stuck them. Die cut flowers with different coloured CS. For pathway below again adhered a chipboard and coloured it with acrylic brown and stuck few aquarium stones to give a soft pebble pathway for the entrance. Added Spanish moss for more grassy side and fussy cut butterflies, birds and cherries for more garden feel. On to the lid I added a resin frame and stuck my little son's pic and made him the main fairy in this tiny little tin heart fairy land.  For the outer layers I gessoed with Prima heavy white gesso and used Rock stencil from TCW and coloured with metallic copper, metallic pink, Blue spray, tiny flowers from CherryLynn dies.
