Hello Lovely Souls.....

Today I have a lovely LO to share with you all. This is a very special one as I have been wanting to work on 7Dots collections and never got a chance to work with these lovely papers......but got them as my prize win and truly wanted to make some gorgeous work.  I know most of the crafty friends over there love to work with them and I'm no different..... so here it is.

I have worked this LO for More than Words this month the challenge is about color Yellow and it depicts happiness, joy, I wanted to depict all these in this little piece of art which I have shared here as my happiness and hence loved making. Right from the focal image and the colors......brightness in the LO was truly magical....enjoyed creating this LO and worked out of my comfort zone toooo......and I love challenging myself on every piece I work as this has made me come so far.

I have used Clear gesso, Acrylic base.....yes incorporated this and added alcohol inks, fussy cut flowers and diecuts elements, wooden chippies were heat set with Lindys EP -Midas gold and Black  - Yelling Yellow, Cowbunga Copper, Hag Wart Orange shimmer spray & Lindys Magical shakers for background, Prima diecuts, Acrylic embossed sheet was cut and added with alcohol inks and rubbed with Viva gold for more shine. Added some more sparkle with micro fine Finnabair glitters and art stones, Kaisercraft rubons.

Few close up shots......

Heaven Embrace me - Hell Break Lose!!

Hello Dearies.....

I have specially worked this project for Mia's blog and I truly love the chippies and their new launch and have always wanted to work with someone who is in this business and would like to take this opportunity to showcase my work.

I loved the way all the elements and the mood board jelled here. I was drawn by the focal pic as it had a lady embarrassing the sky or rather calling out for the heaven. We usually go through so many dark and light moments in life.........and after facing all the ups and downs we do feel yes this is the last let me fly away to heaven and just not come back. .... so this work was all the emotions a woman goes through and yet we fight the world and the inner this is for all those strong  women who fight it out.  Hope this inspires you all over there.

I have worked on an 9x12 canvas with some Heavy black gesso, Lindy's Time Travel teal, Bavarian Blue, Frozen Jack forest, added on some KaiserCraft Rubons, stamped the background with Invisible stamps - Drangonfly stamp and heat set it with  Black forest Black EP, added few stamped vellum flowers which were also heat set with Lindys EP, few diecut flowers, metal charm, wooden chippies were heat set with Lindys EP - Blackforest Black EP and Golden Angel Wings EP, finally added splatters with white acrylic and finally added Diamond Dust for extra shine and sparkle for the soul of this LO.

DT Call - Miascrap

Hello Dearies.....
Today I have a special work to present for a DT Call with Mia Scrap and Im a bit late in applying as I had internet issues and could not make it a bit fast.
I have specially worked this project for Mia's blog and I truly love the chippies and their new launch and have always wanted to work with someone who is in this business and would like to take this opportunity to showcase my work.

Few Details about me:

About Myself:

I'm a Human Resource professional and have been working all through and been crafting as well.  Its been an year and a half that I took a break and have dedicated my time to my passion for creating.  I'm married and have a teenage son...its  a small family.  I have been into fine arts and painting having learnt Indian traditional art like Tanjore and Mysore paintings which is totally on gold foil and usually we depict Gods in these kind of paintings.  I have done my finearts certified course and have been making paper crafts like cards/albums/gift boxes/ scrapbook layouts/ mixed media/altered art/journals/ decoupage......and so on. So art is something which has been in me from the beginning and also a great stress buster in my life. I love to make more mixed media projects as it gives freedom to use everything in your stash and nothing goes waste...which I do include in my work. I'm a self learnt mixed media artist. I love to play with colors and paper.....create something which gives happiness.  Apart from crafting Music is something I love, Travel too.

Its a great learning to be among such beautiful souls who bring joy to our lives by their work.  I have learnt the same way too.  Hope my work brings an opportunity to learn and create more with you all.  Enclosing my few links which I have recently worked ...more on my blog....

I'm comfortable in all mediums.......water colors/acrylics....any. I would love to experiment on new techniques and I always try to bring it in all my works and each work I ensure I bring some variation and each is different from the other and there' s no repetition of the same work. I'm comfortable in mixed media, scrap booking, cards, altered...etc.Currently I'm DT for

Off the Rails - Mixed Media Scrapbooking Blog
                Canvas Corp Brands
                AltairArt Blog
                Reddhs Creative Blog

I will be doing videos as well......may be in two months time my little home should be ready and my crafty heaven as well. Yes....I have a small craft studio set up in my new home. Would surely be sharing more projects and vidoes as well.

More detials on the project which I want to share with you all...
