Hello Ladies.......
I'm back with another work with a peaceful smiling Buddha. I hope you all like this.......worked on this project to highlight more textures....colorplay....3-dimensional effect.....and also avery bright project to share with you all. This is a fully loaded pic page ......with lots of details for you guys.
I have worked on a MDF window frame from TECS for this project. Lovely stuff from this store for your projects. I have used many Little Birdie products from ItsyBitsy store...with their newly launched texture pastes-Grainy Paste was given for the base work, later added more mixed media stones with some acrylic gel and have adhered it across the frame. Stuck some brick chipboard cutouts for wall effect, added moss, few ivy flourish chippies were heat embossed with Lindys EP - Drop Dead gorgeous green, Fiddle head fern green,Clearly clear EP, Lindy's sprays - Tibetan Poppy Teal, Bachelor Button Blue, added fairies from Creative embelishments which were also heat set with Lindys EP - Midnight Sapphire. I have added Little birdie - Embossing paste- avacado smoothie and have heat set it for more texture and to give a flowery effect on the grass, added flowers, leaves, fussy cut butterflies, melange from Little Birdie again, Prima Unicorn Spark for dry brushing, Prima Metallic Wax for the focal image which highlighted the face of Buddha, added Finnabair - rust effect paste - Red for rusty effects on metal holders and for final touches dry brushed with white gesso.

I was drawn by the moodboard with rusty effects, the face figurines, bottles....and feathers...so I have incorporated all the elements in the moodboard and have created this piece.
I loved the textures in the moodboard the sky, the flowers, the relaxation feel in the moodboard and Buddha is one such image which gives us all the inner peace at one glace of his smiling face and hence I created this piece with all the details in it
I have used the wooden window frame and highlighted Buddha as focal image of memory and the peace he brings in to each individual. So thought to capture this memorable face into one frame and shared this with this month's challenge.
Hope you guys like this little share of mine and do leave some love!!
Cheers!!
Hema
