Bloom

Hello Everyone....!!

I hope all are staying home and safe as well!!

Today I'm here to share my work which I created inspired by the colors and mood board of challenge blogs. I have used 9x12 inch canvas and applied Finns- texture paste, crackle paste and allowed to set . Once dried I started playing with the background colors using Lindys - Prima Dona PurpleTibetan-poppy-teal. added layers with Prima IOD molds, fussy cut Mintay and other flowers from my stash, chippies were colored with Lindy's Grab-a-guy-gold, added few micro jewelry beads matching the LO, finally dry brushed with white gesso and added cabochons for highlights. Loved the way the texture pops here with shimmer and shine of Lindy's and the molds were highlighted with  Prima metallics and rubbed with Viva gold for extra highlights.

Mouse hunt

Hello Peeps....

Today I'm sharing my new work inspiration for the month. I have always been fond of this movie which is really humorous called Mouse hunt directed by Gore Verbinski. Its really nice to watch and you would enjoy a little mouse which is stubborn and is the real hero of the movie. I found this pic in my collection and just created this inspired with Lindy's mood board.

For the project I have used embroidery loop adhered with 7 Dots paper and run through Tim holtz glaze medium and added Lindy's EP - Spring-leaf-chartreuseStarbright-gold-green, added some chipboard negatives and adhered it to the loop and added Lindy's spray Drop-dead-gorgeous-greenTibetan-poppy-tealYellow-rose-of-texas. Added layers with gauge colored with the sprays, die cuts were also colored with the sprays, layered with natural dried twigs, mulberry flowers, bling.

Never be a PRISONER of ur - PAST!!

Hello Lovely People,

My first post for the month and yes we have a lovely mood board for MTW challenge and the word inspiration is PAST and  creative challenge is RUST.

As crafter's and talented souls that we are....who doesn't like RUST. I'm a total lover of rust and vintage and really textured stuff.  But here I went totally giving a different take on the theme and word. We all have a past and we do learn a lesson from these experiences and situations. By going through this process we become wise and gain strength and wisdom. So I have shared this in creative side of the past and the elements I picked speak the broken side of our past and the focal image of the woman has been layered to say that she can emerge strong and beautiful leaving her past behind.
"Inhale the Future, Exhale THE PAST"...

I have used 7 Dots paper adhered to thick chipboard, worked over through Finnabair / Tim Holtz stencils, Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste, Lindy's Embossing powder - Bratwurst-brownCaesars-gold, Lindy's sprays - Mission-bells-brownJolly-roger-red, gauge was also sprayed with Lindy's sprays, vintage rust fussy cut elements, few diecuts - Timholtz, Fantasy dies and others, Chippies used - Fabrika Decoru, DustyAttic, Fantasy, the small broken mosaic chips and flowers are from  ItsyBitsy (Little Birdie) which were water colored with Lindy's sprays and adhered....!

ENJOY - every moment!!

Hello Lovely People.....

Today I want to share with you all this lovely piece of art which I created for this month's LINDY's challenge and totally loved the mood board colors......so here is my take for the same. Doesn't it look gorgeous..

I have altered an embroidery hoop, attached with a pattern paper and a chipboard which was unevenly cut mathcing to the focal picture and textured with texture paste - Prima Graphite texture. Later added the magical Lindys - Silent-night-silverWhale-watch-blue and Tiffany lou-blue blended these with spritzer. Added Timholtz's Opaque Matt texture paste for waves as the colors were still wet so that it sets into the paper. Later added Prima - Metallic wax - Old silver for highlights around the hoop and also on to the chipboard curve which was adhered on to the hoop. I added few die cut layers which were heat set with Lindy's EP - Holly-berry-red-gold & added black gesso and WOW black glitter. Adhered few mulberry flowers, real dried hydrangeas, fussycut MINTAY PAPERS - Bloomvilla papers flutters.....aaahhh that's the best (fussy cutting) ...i just cant stop here to match my LO with these and added few Prima IOD filigree moulds, the Wooden Lady Butterfly is from SCRAPFX and its just gorgeous to beautify my work, the sentiment chippie is from FABRIKA Decoru, topped the LO with some WOW black glitter, micro beads of silver and black and violaaaaa....that's purrrfect.....

Wanna see more.......eehh
