Hello Lovely People.....

Today I want to share with you all this lovely piece of art which I created for this month's LINDY's challenge and totally loved the mood board colors......so here is my take for the same. Doesn't it look gorgeous..

I have altered an embroidery hoop, attached with a pattern paper and a chipboard which was unevenly cut mathcing to the focal picture and textured with texture paste - Prima Graphite texture. Later added the magical Lindys - Silent-night-silver, Whale-watch-blue and Tiffany lou-blue blended these with spritzer. Added Timholtz's Opaque Matt texture paste for waves as the colors were still wet so that it sets into the paper. Later added Prima - Metallic wax - Old silver for highlights around the hoop and also on to the chipboard curve which was adhered on to the hoop. I added few die cut layers which were heat set with Lindy's EP - Holly-berry-red-gold & added black gesso and WOW black glitter. Adhered few mulberry flowers, real dried hydrangeas, fussycut MINTAY PAPERS - Bloomvilla papers flutters.....aaahhh that's the best (fussy cutting) ...i just cant stop here to match my LO with these and added few Prima IOD filigree moulds, the Wooden Lady Butterfly is from SCRAPFX and its just gorgeous to beautify my work, the sentiment chippie is from FABRIKA Decoru, topped the LO with some WOW black glitter, micro beads of silver and black and violaaaaa....that's purrrfect.....

HIGHLIGHT - the SUNSET colors of LIFE!!

WISH U A VERY VERY HAPPY 2020 and a wonderful CREATIVE year ahead ladies!!!

I'm happy to share my new work and a new team for the year 2020...... !!

MTW has always been close to my heart and a dream team to be associated with and I'm happy for this opportunity given and will be creating with these lovely bunch of talented ladies for this year full.

For me Art has been one of the best and memorable highlight of my life. Good Art inspires, good design motivates and good friends always there when you need them the most.  Also who doesnt like the sunrise and sunset with those lovely change of colors in the sky and the mild sun with some warmth in nature.....I loved the mood board colors and as always played and depicted the blend in my work too with some colors and texture play to beautify the project. This is my take on the challenge and hope you all love it too and agree with me.

As always I have used a 9x10 canvas overlaid with some stripes of chipboard / corrugated sheet/IOD  clay mold stripe for borders/ some random glue gun textures and also jute chord tied and stuck to the chipboard. I used negative chippes for the corners, textured with texture paste, used Lindys sprays - Tibetan Poppy Teal,  Bachelor button blue, Witch's portion purple shimmer, Magnolia magenta gold shimmer for the background and blended them all for the color variation. I used a new release border die from DCAM which was apt for this project and heat set it with Lindys EP- Caesars gold, Midnight teal. I have layered the focal pic with some fussy cut flowers, fabric flowers, IOD paper moulds which were also colored with Lindys, DCAM foliage leaves were also colored with Lindy's magic to coordinate the focal pic...these enhanced more to the project and finally I added some fine glitters, micro balls, viva gold for highlights, rhinestones for the shine the LO got a uplift and a "HIGHLIGHT".

Winter Village

Hello Lovely People.....

Christmas is just round the corner and we are all happy to celebrate this Xmas with full fun and frolic and I have created a lovely village totally frosty and icy. Hope you all like it and come over to my village for Xmas Celebrations.

I have created the houses with packing chipboard  addidng walls and roof top Inbetween the walls I left space so that I can pass an LED strip to light up the houses for Christmas. I have covered the roof top with some old cushion fur and frosting ice from ITSY BITSY and colored the houses with LINDY's  Caribbean-blue and Ocean-breeze-blue. Added up cut chop sticks as windows and brushed them with gesso, cut few chipboard pieces and added as window balcony topped some moss, dry grass, fussy elements from Ciaobella papers and married them with some Mintay flowers and background also. Added chennile sticks in green and silver sticks for christmas wreath. Added textures paste and crackle paste for the walls, added dried twig branches and covered them with fur and frosting powder. Added small wood chippies, small gift boxes, mini birds, pinecones, mini christmas trees were adhered, fussy cut flowers and elements were also adhered to create the happy winter scene.

Baby - its COLD outside!!

Hello Lovely People.....

Winter is the time for COMFORT, good food, warmth, for a lovely talk beside the fire and lovely music inside our hearts.....I love HOT CHOCOLATESSSSSS!! Yummmm...just love them.

Today I want to share my project which I'm Guest Designing for Mixed Media Acadmey Challenge Blog and I want to thank my buddy Priya Mishra for giving this oppurtunity and the love she shows for art and her fellow buddies. 

So, I have a lovely little canvas 8x10 measuring which was also adhered with a star mini canvas on top and I have created this canvas with wintery project for this month. Its freezing cold and breezy here in Bangalore and its very cold. I wanted to create this wintery project keeping the season and warmed up myself creating this lovely piece.

I applied crackle paste over to both the canvas panels and spiced them up with Lindys - Magnolia-magenta-gold magical, Bavarian-blue, Frozen Jack Forest magical. I have cut few pattern papers with my dies and overlayed them for layers. Few were colored with Lindys' Magnolia magenta and also distressed at the edges with Distress inks. Fantasy / Dustty attic, ScrapFX chippies were adhered and also heat set with Lindy's embossing powders - Aurora-amethyst, King-midas-gold, Bavarian-blue-ep. I layered the focal pic with some natural twigs, cinnamon sticks, pinecone, fussycut elements, diecut pattern papers which were colored with Lindys magicals, frosting powder, frosting ice, stayfoam balls, few snowflakes diecuts which were water colored, pompom balls, poinsetta mulberry flowers.
