Buddha - Peace

Hi Dearies....

Today I happily share my little art where I have done a mix of Decoupage and Mixed Media as my new tenure starts with the wonderful talented people around with Words & Paintery as Design Team Member.  Quite excited about the new start.

I have used an MDF plank in my stash as I wanted to do a name plate and this had not been used.....so I primed it with Prima White gesso twice since I wanted a neat background for my work. Have used Art Anthology Stone Texture paste, TCW -Brick stencil, corrugated sheet, Decoupage Tissue of The Buddha, Alcohol inks, Lindy's Spray, Prima Art stones, Papericious - Circle chippies (New Release), Ranger Gold EP, Spanish Moss, Fomirain Flowers - Die cut with CherryLynn dies, Glitter Balls.

Few close up shots

Hope you guys get inspired and create something stunning.  Looking forward to see your creations@ Words & Paintery.

Will join back with yet another work on mine.

About the Sponsorer:

Blurb Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours.
I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers.
I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with. January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so I drew some. I opened my shop a month later so I could sponsor challenges and give something back to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey.
I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby :D
Welcome to my world
Andrea xx

Dreams R Forever - CA

Hello Dearies......

Hope you all are in good Spirits!!

Today I share a small Canvas using the beautiful products of Colour Arte as DT share, I also have created a small tuto for the same.

Product List:

Canvas 8x8, Prima Heavy gesso, Diecuts &More stencil, Papericious Circle Chippies, Circle Dies- Spellbinders, ColourArte - Twinkling H2Os, And Silks, fussy cut butterflies and leaves, flowers, micro beads, tags for layers.

Step 1: I took a canvas of 8x8 and applied white heavy gesso through stencil and heat set it. Also adhered lace trims to one corner.

Step 2:  I coloured the canvas with ColourArte - twinkling H2Os ...these are like atom bombs and i just love to use them on many of my projects as they have more pigment and shine and truly your project looks awesome with that colour and shine. I washed the canvas with all the colours I wanted to use...matching my pic and layers I wanted to use. I used my misty tool to run the colours and loved the way they spread and leave a watery effect on to your project.

Step 3: Next I started layering all the tags and paper for the arrangement of my focal pic.

Step 4: I coloured the watercolour paper with Twinkling H2Os and used my Spellbinder Circle dies and have cut few circles and used them as layers to the project. I have coloured the chippies with silks and layered them as well finally added micro beads and viola....my LO was ready.

Unfortunately the pics I had clicked are not popping up here  where I had coloured the watercolour paper and I'm not able to share....please excuse me here, though I have explained in the steps and also you can see in the pics below.

Few close up shots for you guys
