Christmas so colorful......!!

Hi Dearies....

Today I have a colourful LO to share with you all.  The mood board colours were awesome and hence played with it.

I have used 9x11' canvas, Prima white heavy jesso, Peekaboo stencil, few mulberry flowers, Lindy's Magical powders (Prairie wild flowers), pearls beads, baby embellishments, DCWV card stock scrap papers in my stash, and that's my son's pic while he was a baby....

I applied clear gesso, heatset and stencilled with Prima white heavy jesso, used Lindy's Magicals, Adhered baby embellishments, layered with strips of DCWV birthday CS and finally adhered colourful pearls matching the LO.

Christmas Tags

                     

Hello Dearies......

I have been late in sharing my work for this month. Today I have two tags to share which I created for Expresions Stamps blog.

For these tags I have used Expressions Stamps stencil and chipboards for creating.  I have used thick chipboard for making these tags.  I have primed them with Prima heavy white gesso and run through the stencil, added Lindy's Magical Powder for coloring the tags and also Lindys Team EP and Wow EP on the tag while the gesso was still wet and heat set it. For snowI have used my cushion foam which was torn and made use of it for creating snow, added few diecuts which I fussy cut and printed and later added Expression Stamps new release chippies which were also heat embossed with EP, I cut a glittered snowflake and adhered it randomly along with some glitter poinsettia flowers and finally added staryfoam balls for snowy effect.

A Broken Heart of hers!!

Hi Dearies....

Looks like this month I had lots of work on my personal front and have been running around finishing most of my stuff hence could not keep up in finishing my work on time......!! Yet have tried and made few stuff which I will be sharing with you guys very soon!! 

Today I have a art journal which I have worked on for Words & Paintery blog. Come along and play with us this month and create some lovely stuff.  You can see more inspirations by our lovely gals on the blog Wordspaintery.

I have created a wintery scene for this month's inspiration.  I applied heavy gesso and modelling paste on to the water color sheet and added mini art stones for more texture and also used a sharp pencil for drawing some texture, added cheese cloth and also once it was heat set added crackle paste randomly on the sheet and allowed to dry it over night. Now next was play time......I have used Lindy's Teal blue from Under the Broadwalk Flat fabio spray, Merci Beaucoup Mint and C'est La Vie Cerise sprays.  I played with the colors till I was content with the outcome, next I painted few branches and tress to match the focal pic  with my Zig Real color Brushes, added chippies from Dusty Attic and applied heavy black gesso and added Lindy's Black EP &Wow Silver, added frosting powder with soft gel for extra shimmer and wintery feel, hand wrote the sentiment and stuck it on to the journal and finally dry brushed white gesso for fnishing.
