Midlight Buddha

Hello Dearies....

My last share of work to end this month and I'm very happy the way this LO turned out.  I had this in mind that I wanted to do a home decor piece and that too Buddha.....so this is here. 

I have used 10x12 canvas applied Prima gesso- Heavy Black and added a broken fan pieces and adhered with Heavy Gel, textured with Prima modelling paste with Prima Filigree Stencil, used some pearls and beads, gave a whole coat of heavy black gesso, heat set and played with Prima Waxes..... and the result is in front of you.  I loved the way the whole process has turned this piece into a stunning home decor. Highlighted with Viva gold for finishing.

I love Buddha in any form and its so peaceful to just see this beautiful face. I'm happy to have done this piece with recycled stuff and I would be framing this and having hung on my living room wall.

A Window to the World of Happiness

Hi Dearies.....

Today I have a new layout to share with you which I did for Mixed Media Monthly Challenge blog.

I have used a 8x8 canvas for this. Applied modelling paste run through a brick stencil and also birdcage and branches stencil work by TCW stencils. Colored with Koi watercolors, adhered Prima Art stones, layered the fussy cut image from Heartfelt creations Rose collection paper stack with few coir, rose mulberry flowers, mini fillers handmade with art stones, stamped images with Archival ink, chippies in my stash gold embossed with Ranger EP, fussy cut butterfly, added splashes with white acrylic and finally highlighted the edges with Archival ink.

The Beauty n the Beast

Hi Dearies....

Today I have an new LO for sharing with you all.  This is totally cinematic LO for a change I wanted to do it in a shinny and bright one and yeah add layers and stuff it  to make it more romantic!!

I have used Papericious Creamy paper stock with Finnabair Brass Acrylic and run through the stencil, added Gold Splashes from Finnabair acrylic, added Lindy's Magical Yellow powder and sprayed with misty, added layers, fussy cut Prima rose quartz flowers, Prima - Lost & found collection, Prima Travelers Journal flowers, Prima Love Clipping flowers, Prima Art Stones, Creative Embellishments chippies and Papericious chippies embossed with Ranger EP, Metal charms........cinema images fussy cut to finish the LO.

Escape into the thoughts

Hi Gals.....

Today I'm sharing a new LO which I have created for Dusty Attic and Mixed Media Warriors DT call. 

I have used La Amour Papericious paper pack, used Dustty Attic bubble stencil and run with Brass Patina Paste for texture, added Lindy's Mission Bells Brown Magical powder and gave a coat of color and stamped with texture stamp honey comb, added layers, fussy cut flowers, jute cord, few handmade roses mini, Bird chippie from Creative embellishments, Dusty Attic chippies - Leaves, Sentiment Ticket, Feather Charm #3 embossed them with Lindy's EP ,added few feathers and in the last added few Art stones for finishing the LO.

I worked on the thick chipboard firstly primed with heavy gesso, run stencil work with purple Lindy's magical powder and sprays, made a wood logs with rolled chipboard, added tissue paper for more texture, worked on a small waterfall and a small lake with small stones, did layers for the focal pic and added diecuts with leaves and flowers and butterflies, chippies, sentiment, sequences, viva gold, Prima velvet wax, splashes with gold acrylic, stamped music notes with pigment ink and adhered jewelry micro beads ......finally it was DREAMY totally.

For this Challenge ......I choose the song of Alan Walker's Faded which is very beautiful and always I play on my phone which is very nice and lovely. I wanted a focal pic which could use this song for and created this imaginary dreamy LO which truly turned out so good.  And this song suits to the mood board and yeahhhh.....its IMAGINARY!!
